Duties and Responsibilities of a Quality Manager MRO subject to authorization   

He/she is responsible for issue /renewal/revoking of an EASA Part-145 C/S -S/S individual authorization. Authorizations are based on qualifications provided by proof of evidence. Such as papers, documents, certificates or documented OJT performance. Previous qualifications are able to accept by equivalence assessment by the Quality Manager. Qualifications are missing shall be trained and assessed to proof competence of staff. All authorizations shall be assigned to the related scope of work to perform work under supervision or final sign off. Only the Quilty Manager is assigned to issue or revoke an authorization. The authorization system shall be controlled via software support to keep process, attitude, guidance and to be organized by the complexity of such a system. By using software to safeguard the authorization system, the software is able to withdraw the authorization in terms of an uncontrolled or expired qualification.
